Rush Hour Poem

I found a good and simple rush hour poem on a website called hello poetry, i put the link below if anyone is interested because i came across really good poems on this website.

NYC Morning

Grazing with herds
of business men and
women alike
at our communal caffeine
watering hole.

Seemingly indifferent to
each others presence,
we're unwittingly intimately
connected by coffee
in this loosely arranged
New York State of Mind
ritual

Despite the poem being very short, i enjoyed it; the readers can understand that their is a morning routine combined with the rush hour'our communal caffeine watering hole'. We come to understand that despite their being so many people you get used to it 'indifferent to each others presence', is this because of the sweet pleasure from the coffee drink that we have in the morning? 'We're unwittingly intimately connected by the coffee' He is saying that it is as if coffee is our numbing drug in the morning pumping through our vein making the morning rush hour in New York City seem unimportant.

The writer who is still unidentified said on the hello poetry Website 'I feel like this isn't done. Will probably change the title too. I'm really going to miss NYC/NJ.'

I wonder what if i could communicate a morning routine also through my idea on Rush hour.
