This is a short film by Eoin Duffy, who is a animator and a former designer. The reason why I would like to post this video because i am interested in the way technical way he animated his film. He used no dialogue yet all the characters grief was protayed through the constantly shifted shapes that capture a sense of isolation, the restrained colour palette i kept on seeing repeatedly.I was mesmerised by the overall animation, how he could only use over printed blocks and shapes. The short film is called 'On Departure' and this short films depicts Eoin Duffy's journey home from Australia and back to Ireland. He had to go back to Ireland because his brother committed suicide back home in Ireland. Through out the film we see the 5 stages of grief.
