Singing in the rain by Annette Paul, Christoph Rossner and Andre Temple
This is a sculpture done by Annette Paul, Christoph Rossner and Andre Temple, who all live in this house. This building is known as the singing wall to many tourists. This building plays the natural music whenever the cloud releases rain. This is an invention made of metal tough pipes, made of system of drains and funnels. They are attached on the outside of the colorful house in Germany and becomes more than an sculpture to an instrument. 'Annette Paul said she was inspired by her home in St Petersburg where she would listen to the 'rain theatre' of the pipes outside her home' Her reminiscing inspired her to want to share the sound, although we all heard it before, it does not always linger for long, whereas this instrument will be capable to save a couple of more water to invent the same sound. It is located in Neustadt Kunsthofpassage, known as an Art street called 'The courtyard of Elements'. Just by the way the house is designed outside is admiral, it surely would capture more than one look and entertain those who pass through by by playing the rain melody. An artistic house perfect for the residents who are artists.
Below is a YouTube video demonstrates the instrument in action after the rain.
